If Drift City force closes on you, the problem is usually related to any of the following being outdated.

Drivers
Codec Pack
DirectX
Windows
Out-Dated Clients

If you are using a Vista OS, you may also need to change it to XP compatible as well. There are some issues withi Vista where Drift City does not run properly. By changing it's compatibility to XP compatible, this may resolve the issue for some. In certain cicumstances, the issue may not be related to any of the above. When submitting an inquiry regarding to issues which pertains to getting the client to run properly, please give us your full PC specs including the OS which you are currently using.

If you are using Windws 7, there is an option for visual themese to be disabled, this option may affect Drift City. Try changing the option to see if that resolves the issue.
